The Ford Kenya Party has  formed a disciplinary committee to investigate the conduct of members who have declared allegiance to other political parties.

The committee comprising of seven will be chaired by Justice Richard Kuloba while other members include Nasra Sahal, Said Hiribae, Lwande Oneko, Cynthya Mutere and Carol Oduor.

Those to face the Committee are Turkana Senator John Munyes, Turkana East MP  Nicholas Ngikor and Lungalunga Member of County Assembly Khatib Mwashetani.

Speaking to the media today at  the Ford Kenya Offices in Nairobi, Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale said the defectors who have declared allegiance to other political parties will face the committee to explain their political stance as they were elected on a Ford Kenya ticket.


“The three defectors have seven days to submit to the proposed committee and explain their stand in the party as to whether  they have joined the new Jubilee Party and other parties,” said Khalwale.

The move comes after ODM, Wiper Democratic Movement and other opposition parties summoned elected members who had defected to other political parties for disciplinary measures.

Khalwale announced that other defectors will be delt with  later after if they  publicly declare allegiance to other parties.
